missing her
sigh.. called granny this morning on skype out and i miss her... sniff. It's these calls which make me miss home. But i must call her because.. i miss her! sniff. I've got class in 45 minutes and gotta leave here in 15, lest i be late like yesterday (comeon, i was only 3 minutes late!) But everyone was already there.
The labs here are admittedly worse than nus's. Woah, nus lab is fabulous actually! I didn't know what i had! The micropippettes here look like.. toys! and each table doesn't have a centrifuge - how to do dna prep like that? And.. 3 microscopes worked yesterday. 3! for 30 pepes! happy! But it's ok. Just for the sem and this isn't graded. so... not so worried. and only 6 lab reports in 10 weeks. so pretty ok lah huh.
oh yes, my class has a grand total of 30 people. scary huh. why so few?
I think i lost one of my blue gloves. it might have fallen out of my pocket. oh dear. i might need it! sheesh. Shall go hunt it down properly.
Looking forward to this weekend. Elgin wants to go to norway, i.. i need a short break from all this craziness. need to just sit back and chill, and pack my room, and make lunch for the week.
