ok. after that calculative stuff is done with..
i had a great time at stockholm today! city life really agrees with me and yes yes, i know that i'm supposed to be hanging out with the swedish peps but it's just that singaporeans here are bent on travelling - which is what i want to do too! and because they're fun to hangout with!
We went to this concert this evening .. for free! And guess who was there?! TEXAS! Ok, admittedly, i didn't know who the hell they were before that. But! I recognised the songs and like them quite a bit so i was pretty pleased.
Stockholm is great! City and Old city charm put together. I feel so good seeing so many escalators. I think that Lund has a grand total of 1 escalator - at the station. pathetic no? so scary. 1 escalator in town.
And it feels good being in a crowd. i never thought that i'd say this but yup it's true. so maybe adelaide is not the place for me for grad studies huh.. maybe melb or sydney is a better option. okies. tired and shixin wants to use the net.

There's nothing wrong with hanging out with sporeans what, you speak of it as though you were forced to!!! Gong! haha.
i'm not forced! i like hanging out with them.But u know how u have all these plans to make swedish friends.. then it kinda falls through in the first week! but i intend to make some swedish friends when classes start.
Go with the flow... take it easy... there are'nt any objectives for this trip. You just wanna see and experience new things without forgeting to enjoy yourself. Agreed?
hey hey, trust me lyd, all of us seek shelter in our own kind, its nice, but i dunno about all e melbourne/sydney peeps who hang ard wit their own kind exclusively, most likely due to the dearth of the natives. For me, i choses to come to a college, with a majority native population, and i made sure i could make clooose frens with the locals, it was not easy, but it helped that many of my close frens are not very different from me, they are not all weird and diff la, but at the same time u must not forget your singpaorean roots, in your case, there is one problem , the language barrier,
But as nesh said, just chill out and take things slow..
