heya all
Soo... the rest attempted to wake up early this morning. Somehow in Lund, I Always wake up early. 630ish or 730ish. Scary eh. I think my bed in Lund is too soft - which is why I'm always sleeping so little i guess.
Anyway, we went to the Vasamuseum and Skansen today! Vasa is this museum housing the world's oldest intact ship. Woah, it was huge! And I'm really impressed by the fact that it's so well preserved. Something abt how the Baltic Sea's salt content is really low thus there aren't these wood eating worms in the water or sth like that. ok honestly, i know that u guys aren't interested in that bit of information. (other than maybe my mum). But honestly, it's a great place. Really well done up.
Skansen is this outdoor museum. Sth like what we went to in Holland ma. At first, things were kinda harried but later on, we chilled out more, took some stupid pics, and i think i most enjoyed the bits when we sat in little houses and talked to pple who were doing demonstrations. like this lady making cheese, watching these little kids do Swedish folk dances - aw the kids here are so so cute! (alamak! they make me miss my citykids!)
Anyways, we had this hugmonous (prob spelt that wrong) craving for icecream and mm.. it tasted so good! This weekend was absolutely fun! We thought a lot less abt how much we spent- which was a good feeling and took loads of public transport because we bought a three day travel pass - which gives us good discounts. Now the other peps are playing this rowdy card game which i must teach my new friends in international hall. it'll be a riot!
:) Hoping to buy stuff like bike lights and extension plugs tmr. Yes yes. extension plugs. need one in my room for studying!
Amelia! Can't wait for u to come! Honestly, Lund's a little town so I'll try to find nice/fun things for u to do here yah. Maybe we'll travel to neighbouring towns too. Dunno how that'll work out cause of..class! like everyday! everymorning.. yikes.
Oh yeah! Btw, i know that some of u quiet ones are reading my blog periodically. it'll be good if u give me a shout out ya? on my comments or on the chatterbox..so that i can continue feeling loued and cherished! (yes, so needy indeed)
