Norway in a nutshell.

Sorry it'll have to be in a peanut cause i have a triillion things to do.

The trip up was pretty long but somehow...all the travelling time that was accumulated in this trip didn't really feel all that long. Very strange. 14 hours back and 20 hours there. I felt the full effects of the trip today. I was so tired last night that I almost fell asleep in the bathroom! I can imagine a few pple- like buddhi! being capable of that though.. waking up in the morning in the bathroom!

I went for class this morning - rather boring! I learnt abt how milk is a perfect home for bacteria. Happy! And pasterisation is pretty important. I went right out and bought raw milk for myself this afternoon after my classmate told me that her parents are farmers and she's never had a problem with raw milk. And my goodness. Raw milk tastes SO SO SO good. Oh man. I have been converted. It's really so flavourful. No more fear of osteoporosis if I lived here.

Zonked out totally for 2 and a half hours straight this afternoon. When I got up at 615pm, it was already dark! Joy! Sunset at 1800.

Norway was beautiful. The trees in Autumn were in different shades of red. The trees in Lund are pretty beautiful too! I shld take some pics.. hmm.. Bergen wasn't too cold. abt 8-9 degrees. And Sunny too!

The Flam railway wasn't a big big deal, it was pretty no doubt but the train itself wasn't like WOAH so quaint. But not too bad either. The scenery..pretty! Nothing that u can see in South East Asia. The Fjords were goregeous. And I saw snow!! For the first time in Norway. It snowed at the highest point in Bergen when we got off the train for a grand total of 3 minutes. In that 3 minutes, I almost put my foot through a puddle of water that had almost frozen through. Phew. Snow feels like cold rain. And I couldn't realy taste it cause there wasn't enough i think.

Bergen is a quaint town. Lots of wooden houses painted in bright colours! I'm going to paint my house yellow with white sills. Warning to all potential housemates! It's small enough to be really walkable. And I loved pottering around and just taking lots of shots! The SMU peps are really fun to hang out with! I liked travelling with them. The NUS-SMU combi was good! I was anxious for naught.

Seriously, I shld be studying now. it's already 11pm. Shall go do one chapter before sleeping. Will tell ya more abt my trip

Ma and Dad. Be proud! I'm supersaver lyd. We spent 300sgd inclusive of transport for 4 days and 2 nights of stay in norway! Overnight trains are tiring but cost effective!

Aiyoh, salah lah. It was not in Bergen where we saw snow. It was in Myrdal. And what joy it was to see the light cool snow!
