Gasp!

Norway! :) !!!! We are so poor that we're bringing food there. heh. maggie mee!! mm. i think i'll bring a fork too.

Thanks Elgin for the back bike light and poncho! It's so cute! orange poncho. u hae good contacts! Can't believe that ur seniors left u so much stuff.

Anyways, today could've been oh such a bad day. but.. things turned out pretty good!

I dash off to the forex to get euros to pay deming back for the scan rail pass, and... i have a flat! woo hoo. panic ensues. Then Ze (miguel) who lives in my adopted coridoor comes up! yay! he offers me help and gives me a temporary solution - pumps up the tire and promises to help me patch the tyre once we find tools to get the wheel out. his is pretty much dead too. But he can't lend me his pump, so i spent a lot of today planning where to find a static pump. Thankfully there are quite a lot around!

So I could bike ard lund today with very few problems, and tmr, Benny, my lab partner who lives a block away, is going to teach me how to patch a tube. Wow. skills that are actually useful.

Skills learnt (or to be learnt) in lund:
1. Cooking or.. the fastest best cheapest way to feed myself
2. Fixing flats
3. Planning cheap travelling
4. Juggling domestic, study and social life.

Things to learn:
1. How to fix back tyre (hopefully i don't have to learn this)
2. How to clean bathrooms in 5 minutes
3. How to leave worries at the door.
