international dinner
I'm now a PR (permanent resident) of the A3 international coridoor. This babe Emaanuelle (sp?!) thought that I lived in that coridoor!! Haha.. reminds me of how my dad used to think that i was from 01s11 (my adopted class in vj).
We had this BIG dinner there last night. I mean BIG. There was way to much food. And most of it was awesome! I have to say, i should have cooked my japanese beef thing the day itself, but with amelia coming over, i just didn't risk it. Damn so it didn't taste as good as it should have! so sian! So I have half a container of it left over. never mind. i shall have it for dinner on monday!
But everyone cooked delicious stuff! We had papadam - courtesy of amelia, and it was pretty fun frying it. Also had yummy salad, sushi!, german meat wrapped in dumplings made by danielle's mum, oh that was so good, eating food made by a mum, coleslaw, spanish onion omeltte, spanish cured ham on abagette, polish and czech potato pancakes - u eat the polish one with sugar! , stir fried chicken, fried rice, mah po tofu, oo.. the list just goes on and on. ooo!and eriana, she's from ukraine, made lovely apple pie. oh man it was SO good! I shall get the recipie from her and it looks easy too! oh it was damn damn good.
Plus, amelia is here! We went to Malmo to see the 3rd largest city in Sweden. haha.. Saw this castle in Malmo. No biggie but the entrance fee was pretty cheap so that was ok. 20kr for students! and saw a lot of weird things, like stuffed animals - they have a better collection than the raffles biodiversity museum.
Today we're going to Ystad, south of sweden to check things out. oh man, i'm spendind a lot more money on travelling this week!
Balancing work and housekeeping stuff, and amelia this week will be tougher than i thought!
