Oh thank God!
This morning wasn't exactly the right way to start the day, getting an sms from my dad and totally acting like a baby. But ah well, i'm alone in a foreign land. miss my folks like hell. even more than my friends actually - i though that i'd miss my friends more! u guys can growl at me later.
Then I cycled (on my second hand bike!) to the international office to see my coordinator. She's a nice lady but boy was i upset. I can only do 3 courses here. That means 12mcs in singapore and u nus peps know that i need 20 mcs every sem. it's not really lund's fault but talking to chantel, nus co-ordinator, kinda got me a little steamed. firstly, i'm an emotional wreck from not knowing enough english speaking - first lang, pple here, and secondly, i really miss my family.. argh. look forward lyd!
Anyway, just got an email from an nus lecturer! oh man! just want to hug him! he's letting me map applied microbiology onto my Microbiology module here! That means ´that i get to cover 2 nus lifescience modules with one lund module! that's awesome. i feel really relieved now.
going to meet my mentor group soon - the beer thing, and going to go for some sorta party tonight. i wonder what that'll be like. no bike lights though. dunno what i'll do abt that.
Actually have a record (mostly depressing) about what i've been up to. will put that up once i remember to store it on my thumbie! here are some pics too!
